Thank you for responding to our survey.

We have been working hard in Tonyrefail and Gilfach Goch targeting the ongoing use of uninsured vehicles.  We take vehicle crime seriously as it is this sort of low level everyday crime which directly affects our residents on a regular basis. 

On Saturday 4th October 2025 an abandoned vehicle was seized by Police from Wyndham Street, Gilfach Goch. The vehicle was uninsured and insecure.  By seizing this vehicle, we may have prevented it from being used illegally in the future or from being a target for anti social behaviour as the Halloween and Bonfire Night period approaches. 

Are you aware of uninsured vehicles on the roads?  Get in touch and let us know.  We remain committed to keeping our roads in Rhondda Cynon Taff safe for the public to use.
